COUNCIL ROCK announces that its TELiG E1500 Industrial IoT Router has been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for operation on Anterix™ 900 MHz spectrum.

Nokia and Motorola Solutions recently announced agreements with Anterix that are designed to help provide private LTE networks to utilities and other critical-communications customers leveraging the 900 MHz broadband spectrum primarily licensed to Anterix.

With its incorporation as a not-for-profit this year, the Utility Broadband Alliance (UBBA) aims to make waves for utility critical infrastructure by promoting and developing private LTE broadband networks.

EA, NRTC and Southern California Edison are among the newest members of the Utility Broadband Alliance (UBBA), which this week announced it’s now officially a not-for-profit association “dedicated to advancing and developing private LTE broadband.”

Don’t expect what happened in Texas to stay in Texas. There will be national repercussions.
