Built by people who have done this before.
Anterix was founded by the people who built Nextel and the first nationwide push-to-talk network. We saw that the organizations running America’s most critical systems were being asked to modernize on networks they did not control.
In 2014, we petitioned the FCC, alongside the Enterprise Wireless Alliance, to realign the 900 MHz band and carve out a broadband segment that had never existed. Six years of proceedings followed. In 2020, the order arrived — and in 2026, the Commission expanded the broadband segment to the full 10 megahertz.
The best low frequencies were mapped generations ago, and there are no more being made. Ours is the only low-band spectrum in the country created specifically so critical infrastructure operators could own their networks. We have spent every year since stewarding that spectrum and putting it in the hands of the operators who run the systems society depends on.
